Do
you have a passion for singing a great variety of fabulous music including
Classical, Spirituals, Jazz and Pop? The Wayzata Women’s Chorus
is looking for experienced choral singers in the Twin Cities area who
share our passion for music and are available to rehearse Monday evenings
starting September 10th for the 2012-2013 season. Interested
women can come during the month of September to check out the Chorus
to see if it is a fit for them. Rehearsals start at 7:00 p.m.
at Peace Lutheran Church, 3965 Co. Rd. 101, Plymouth, MN . Please
come a bit early to get music and register. (Rehearsals are every
Monday from 7:00 p.m.-9:15 p.m. at Peace.) WWC performs two major
concerts each year along with numerous outings.
This
award winning chorus is directed by Carole Birch and accompanied by
Mary Fadden. The Chorus has traveled and competed internationally at
the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Llangollen, Wales
and at the Salzburg Music Competition in Salzburg, Austria.
The Chorus has also been the special guests of the Apollo Male Chorus
on several occasions for their Holiday concerts. It is well respected
both for the depth and breadth of its repertoire and the quality of
