Violin Lessons

As a full time professional violin instructor with a Masters Degree in Violin Performance from DePaul University and Suzuki teacher training in books one through ten, I realize the benefits of a music education can follow and assist a student throughout their academic career and beyond.  These benefits include development of a person’s self confidence, comprehension, discipline, communication skills, logical reasoning, spatial reasoning skills, patience, coordination, concentration, teamwork, problem solving skills and persistence.

I would like to offer group violin lessons to the members of PCCC at a discounted price. The length of group lessons will be determined by the age of the students. Thirty minute lessons are only $15 each, per person under 12 years of age, while a forty-five minute group lesson for students 12 and over are $20.  Group violin classes will run for three weeks so students and I can evaluate if continuing to receive violin lessons would be beneficial.  If a student wishes to continue studying violin with me, private lessons will be available. For beginning students that prefer private lessons, a set of three introductory lessons are available for only $22 per half hour, or $27.00 for forty-five minutes.  For more information, please contact Marnie Thies at 763-413-4791 or marnie78t@gmail.com.  Background information about me can be viewed at proviolin.com.
